Report: Development and Protection of IP in China's Film and Television Industry

      Published on 20 Jun 2024 | 2 minute read
Colleagues launched their joint report on the development and protection of IP in China's film and television industry.

Earlier this week, at the Shanghai International Film Festival, colleagues from Rouse and strategic partner, Lusheng Law Firm 路盛律 launched their joint report on the development and protection of IP in China's film and television industry. Aria Tian, Landy Jiang and Carol Wang were the keynote speakers sharing their interpretations of the findings.

The report continues last year's research, summarising the key content related to the development and protection of intellectual property in the film and television industry in the past year, and then starting from the dual-track system of administrative protection and judicial protection, analysing common intellectual property problems in the industry and providing solutions. Finally, the report examines case studies according to the three stages of production, publicity and operations of film and television work to be more in line with the creative process of the film and television industry.
