      Biography

      At Rouse, Abinaya will work on patents related to electronics, information technology, software and telecommunication. She will work on drafting and prosecuting patent applications in addition to performing novelty searches and analyses concerning various patent-related matters.  

      She finished her Ph.D degree in Electrical Engineering (with specialisation in nanoelectronics) from the Lund University in Sweden. Prior to starting her career in IP, she has conducted research on nanoscale electronic devices (with main focus on semiconductor device processing) suitable for low power applications in Internet-of-Things (IoT) and for sensor applications in bio-sensing. She has multi-cultural experience through education from Germany and Sweden in addition to having India as her origin. She has a Masters degree in Microsystems Engineering from University of Freiburg in Germany. Apart from her technical education, she has an elementary proficiency of German and have studied intellectual property rights at university level.
