Jack Liu is a Chinese attorney at law and patent attorney at Lusheng Law Firm Shanghai Branch.
Jack Liu is a Chinese attorney at law and patent attorney with 13 years’ experience in IP fields, including patent prosecution, patent disputes such as infringement analysis and litigation. Before he began IP practice, Mr. Liu worked as an electronic engineer for two years. His technical areas include electronics, electrics, computer science, communication, software and mechanics. Mr. Liu is also a member of the International Federation of Intellectual Property Attorneys (FICPI).
Before joining Lusheng, Mr. Liu worked for a US law firm as Patent Attorney and then for a Chinese IP firm as Manager of Mechanics and Electrics Department. During recent years, Mr. Liu pays special attention to the history of Chinese patent law, subject matter for Chinese Utility Model, patent eligibility for software and business method, development of the test of non-obviousness and patent claim construction.
