Biography
Magnus is passionate about technology and always enjoys learning about new ideas and innovations. He specializes in computer systems, especially computer architecture, operating systems, distributed systems, and high-performance computing, but also computer security, general software applications, and computer-implemented inventions (CII). He works mainly with drafting and prosecuting patent applications, but also performs novelty searches and analyses concerning various patent-related matters.
Magnus started his IP career in 2018, working as a Patent Examiner at the Swedish Intellectual Property Office, PRV, within the division for IT and Telecommunications, examining patent applications primarily within the fields of computer systems, artificial intelligence (AI), and computer-implemented inventions. During this time, Magnus also worked as a resource and lecturer for raising awareness of intellectual assets and property among Swedish small and medium-sized enterprises.
Prior to working in the field of IP, Magnus conducted research in computer architecture, related to memory systems and cache coherence, operating systems, high-performance computing, and distributed memory systems at Uppsala University. During this time, Magnus also co-founded a startup for commercializing computer systems-related research.
